Super Duper San Diego!

Mom, Dad and I had a blast visiting the family in San Diego. It was really fun for me to go back after 4 years and reconnect with everyone. Here are some highlights of the trip. (I have included my photos in all their glory if anyone wants to view them):

  • Running like a maniac through the canyon park for an hour and then realizing that low altitude does not mean you won't want to die afterward
  • Mooching off of the parents' golf resort perks.

  • Visiting the snazzy Coronado hotel

  • Going inside a real battleship!

  • Buying lots and lots of cheap Mexican stuff at Old Town.

  • Eating the most delicious breakfast burrito at Kono's.
  • Watching the sea gull snatch a hamburger out of a lady's hand at Sea World.
  • Petting a dolphin! (Totally worth the 60 minute wait and $6. Jen, you're the coolest.)

  • Talking to a seasoned lifeguard and realizing that this is actually a career field.
  • Spending lots of time with my uncle Ed, #1 host and tour guide. (He's the one who scored me the spontaneous life guard interview)

  • Reconnecting with cousins Steph and Jen at the C-Side restaurant. Cousins are super cool! Especially when they're over the age of 20 and female. (No offense Micah; you're cool too)

Oh, and thanks to Katy for taking me and Ed to the zoo! It was fantabulous!
